Overview

They are extruded by the hot - pressing method after polyvinyl chloride resin is mixed with stabilizers, lubricants, etc., and are the earliest developed and applied plastic pipes. PVC - U pipes have strong corrosion resistance, are easy to bond, are low - priced, and are hard in texture. However, due to the exudation of PVC - U monomers and additives, they are only suitable for water supply systems where the conveying temperature does not exceed 45 °C. Plastic pipes are used in applications for drainage, wastewater, chemicals, heating and cooling fluids, food, ultra - pure liquids, slurries, gases, compressed air and vacuum systems. PVC - O pipes, whose Chinese name is biaxially oriented polyvinyl chloride, are the latest evolutionary form of PVC pipes.
